Infrastructure cost recovery and debt collection

Recovering the cost of damage to public infrastructure.

Techrise Africa pursues what large asset owners are owed and do not collect: the cost of damage to roads and electricity infrastructure, and arrears. We fund the work and are paid only from what is recovered.

What goes unrecovered

The authority repairs the damage and absorbs the cost. The drivers responsible, and their insurers, pay nothing.

The right already exists

The legal right to recover the cost already exists. We supply the process to exercise it, as a single managed function.

One point of accountability

We manage each matter from the first evidence through to settlement, and carry responsibility for the result.

Public infrastructure, damaged every day

  • Traffic signals
  • Streetlight poles
  • Road signage and markings
  • Guardrails
  • Barriers
  • Bridges
  • Stormwater structures

Infrastructure cost recovery

The six stages of a claim

From the scene of the damage to monthly reporting.

  1. Stage 1 of 6

    Scene intelligence

Incident details are captured at the scene.

  2. Stage 2 of 6

    Case engineering

The scene record is turned into a validated, quantified claim.

  3. Stage 3 of 6

    Repair quotation and approval

The damage is costed through approved suppliers, and you sign off the quotation.

  4. Stage 4 of 6

    Demand and recovery

The responsible party is pursued for the cost.

  5. Stage 5 of 6

    Litigation management

Matters that stay unresolved are escalated through appointed attorneys.

  6. Stage 6 of 6

    Reporting and governance

Monthly reporting to you, with full visibility throughout.

How it is paid

You provide the mandate. We provide everything else.

Fees are paid only from money recovered. If nothing is recovered, nothing is owed.

Debt collection and credit control

Arrears, from a validated book to monthly reporting.

A managed contact-centre operation, with trained agents, structured engagement and quality controls. We take the mandate, prepare and segment the book, and report on the outcome.

  1. Stage 1 of 3

    Validated books

Assigned arrears are checked and segmented before any contact is made.

  2. Stage 2 of 3

    Structured engagement

Approved scripts, quality monitoring and clear dispute handling.

  3. Stage 3 of 3

    Reporting

Monthly reporting on activity, recoveries and disputes.

Debt Collection & Credit Control

Governance

Enforcement and penalty decisions stay with your authorised officials.

  • Monthly reporting, structured to suit your own governance.
  • Operates under POPIA-compliant data agreements.
